Why you should consider First Look photos at your wedding

Why you should consider First Look photos at your wedding.

First look is a special moment where the bride and groom see each other before the ceremony, have a few moments alone, and get portraits done before hand.

The groom steps away to a secluded, guest-free area.  The bride approaches from behind him.  She will either call out his name or tap him on the shoulder to have him turn around.

There is pure emotion in this private moment where you see each other in your wedding attire for the first time.

Weddings go by so fast; slow down and be alone together.

Many couples use this time to pray together, affirm each other, or exchange gifts.

Having your portraits taken during this time frees you up during the cocktail hour, when you will be taking portraits with your family and bridal party.

Your day should be relaxed and enjoyable, so getting these special moments done before hand is ALWAYS helpful.

You should have the wedding you’ve always envisioned and no photographer, coordinator, or family member should pressure you into doing anything you don’t want to do. If a first look isn’t something that interests you and your fiancé, no worries!
